Gabon forward, Denis Bouanga is optimistic that the national team can achieve great things.
This comes after Gabon booked qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament last year.
According to Denis Bouanga, recent performances of the national are proof that they are on the right trajectory.
He is confident that if the national team stays consistent, they will achieve something great.
“We’ve discovered many new players, and the team now has a solid core. We’re scoring goals while remaining solid defensively. Sure, in our recent matches against Morocco (5-1), we conceded, but I think we have a very strong squad. It’s a great era for Gabon, with a group capable of achieving great things. It’s up to us to stay consistent and maintain this mindset,” Denis Bouanga told CAFOnline.
The forward is part of the Gabon squad assembled for the upcoming matches against Seychelles and Kenya in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
