CSKA Moscow consider move for Red Star striker Jay Enem
Dutch-Nigerian striker Jay Enem has been linked with a move from Red Star to CSKA Moscow, with the Russian club monitoring the 23-year-old forward.
Enem joined Red Star permanently from OFK Beograd on 1 July 2026 after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season on loan at the Serbian club. The transfer was recorded as a €2m deal, and he is under contract with Red Star until 30 June 2029.
The 1.95m centre-forward has made one appearance in the Super liga Srbije this season, scoring once, while also featuring twice in Champions League qualifying. He has started 25% of Red Star’s league and European matches so far, according to his current-season statistics.
Enem was part of the Red Star squad that won the Serbian championship and Serbian Cup in 2025-26. His first full season with the club followed a spell at OFK Beograd, where he moved after leaving Venezia in July 2025.
Born in Amsterdam, Enem developed in the Netherlands with Ajax and AZ Alkmaar before moving into senior football. He later spent time on loan with Ethnikos and Omonia 29th May during his period with Venezia.
CSKA Moscow play in the Russian Premier Liga, while Red Star compete in Serbia’s top flight. Enem’s current contract means any move would involve an agreement with Red Star rather than a free transfer.
