Slim Ben Jemai Signs Three-Year Deal with CS Sfaxien
After a disappointing domestic campaign that saw Club Sportif Sfaxien finish fourth in the Tunisian league — behind Club Africain, Étoile du Sahel, and Espérance de Tunis — the club has moved swiftly to reinforce its squad ahead of the new season.
In a bid to shore up their defence, CS Sfaxien have secured the services of Slim Ben Jemai on a three-year contract. The 26-year-old Tunisian defender, who previously played for Stade Lavallois in France, officially signed with the club this week.
The transfer was made possible through the efforts of club president Lofti Abdennadher, who travelled to France personally to finalize the deal. Ben Jemai’s arrival is expected to bring much-needed stability to a backline that struggled throughout the previous season.
With this signing, CS Sfaxien signals its intent to return to the top of Tunisian football and challenge more seriously for domestic and continental honours.
