Crystal Palace Boss: Bolasie Worth Double the Asking Price
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has declared that winger Yannick Bolasie’s market value is soaring, insisting that current offers fall far short of the player’s true worth.
The 25-year-old DR Congo international has been in electric form in recent weeks, playing a key role in Palace’s resurgence under Pardew. His stunning 11-minute hat-trick against Sunderland last weekend further fuelled interest from top Premier League and overseas clubs.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Pardew revealed that initial bids of around £10 million (€14 million) had already been received — but were swiftly rejected.
“They should take another look at that,” Pardew said. “Because he’s worth double.”
Bolasie has been instrumental in Crystal Palace’s turnaround, helping the club win four of their last five league matches. His pace, flair, and unpredictability on the wing have made him one of the most exciting attacking players in the Premier League this season.
The Eagles host West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park on Saturday, and all eyes will once again be on Bolasie as speculation about his future continues to swirl.
Signed from Bristol City in 2012, Bolasie has developed into a key figure at the south London club. His performances have caught the attention of several high-profile sides, though Palace remain keen to hold on to one of their star assets.
With the summer transfer window approaching, Pardew’s comments appear aimed at warding off undervalued offers — and perhaps setting the stage for a bidding war, should Palace decide to cash in.
For now, however, the focus remains on finishing the season strongly, with Bolasie at the heart of the club’s attacking momentum.
