However, Alan Pardew, Bolasie’s manager, dismissed these claims. Speaking to L’Express, Pardew stated, “Yan is a fantastic talent. Although the media suggested a strong connection, there was no official contact between Tottenham and us — no manager-to-manager or chairman-to-chairman talks.”
He added, “So, everything indicates there was no real interest. But the media love these kinds of stories, and it makes for good build-up to this match.”
