Ghana international Mohammed Salisu could depart AS Monaco in the current transfer window, having attracted significant interest from clubs.
Salisu is seeking for a move away from the French club, with Crystal Palace expressing interest to snap up the Black Stars defender to provide him with guaranteed playing time in the Premier League.
Since joining the Principality club from Southampton in 2023, Salisu has yet to pin down a regular place in the starting lineup.
The enterprising centre-back was mostly used as a back-up option, marking just 24 appearances across competitions for the French club last season.
The former Real Valladolid defender initially struggled with injuries in his first season, and despite starting more regularly in his second campaign, he eventually became a backup option.
Salisu last start for Monaco was back in February. However, the arrival of England top defender Eric Dier possess more threats to Salisu’s future at Monaco.
However, Crystal Palace have contacted Monaco in an attempt to snap up Salisu for the 2025/26 football campaign.
Meanwhile, the reigning FA Cup champions are not the only clubs to have shown interest in the defender, with Olympiacos also in talks with Salisu.
