Croatian outfit Hajduk Split offer Al Ahly star Ahmed Nabil Kouka bumper deal
Croatian side HNK Hajduk Split have stepped up their pursuit of Al Ahly Ahmed Nabil Kouka ahead of the summer transfer window.
Kouka’s future has become a growing talking point in Egypt as his contract situation remains unresolved, with negotiations over a new deal at Al Ahly yet to produce a breakthrough.
As per reports, Hajduk Split have offered the versatile midfielder a three-part package that includes an annual salary of $300,000, a signing-on fee worth $100,000 and a 10 percent share of any future transfer fee should he be sold by the Croatian club.
The proposal is particularly attractive because Kouka would be able to join as a free agent once his current contract expires, giving him greater leverage in negotiations and allowing the Croatian club to invest more heavily in personal terms.
The latest development comes at a delicate stage in discussions between the player and Al Ahly. Reports indicate that the Egyptian champions’ latest renewal proposal has failed to convince Kouka, leaving the door open for overseas interest to gain momentum.
With no agreement yet in sight, uncertainty continues to surround one of Al Ahly’s promising young players. The longer negotiations remain unresolved, the greater the possibility that European clubs could strengthen their attempts to lure him away from Cairo.
For now, Hajduk Split appear to be leading the race, but Al Ahly still have an opportunity to retain the midfielder if they can reach an agreement before his contract situation enters its final stages.
