Croatian outfit HKN Rijeka have completed the acquisition of England-born Ghanaian forward Daniel Adu-Adjei in the current summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old is joining Rijeka on a permanent deal from Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth. He is expected to continue his development at Rijeka, having struggled to break into the senior team.
Following an agreement between Rijeka and Bournemouth, the talented attacker is expected to travel to Croatia to undergo his mandatory medical on Monday before putting pen paper for the club.
The forward leaves Bournemouth without making an appearance for the Bournemouth first team despite showing glimpses of good performances for the youth team. He arrived at the Cherries in 2023 and never made any appearances for senior team.
The impending move offers Adu Adjei the opportunity to showcase his talent to the entire world considering his qualities.
He joined Bournemouth youth team from Fulham before loan spells at Carlisle United, Poole Town and Leyton Orient.
Daniel Adu-Adjei remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
