Croatian international Domagoj Vida has been fined 100,000 euros by his club, Dinamo Zagreb, for what the club describes as “unsporting behavior.” Although the club did not provide specific details about the incident, local press reports suggest that Vida opened a can of beer on the team bus headed to Vrsar for a National Cup match.
The hefty fine appears to be a response to Vida’s actions, and it’s a substantial amount that could buy a significant number of bottles of locally produced beer in Zagreb.
