“All the players we dream of are already at PSG,” Al-Khelaifi asserted to L’Équipe. He expressed immense respect for Ronaldo, acknowledging his status as a phenomenal player. However, Al-Khelaifi clarified, “He is under contract with Real Madrid, who I also respect. The day I really want a Real player, believe me, I will be able to talk to Florentino Pérez directly about it. For the moment, this is not the case.”

He explicitly ruled out any ongoing negotiations with PSG for players, particularly Cristiano Ronaldo or Marco Verratti, a player highly admired by Carlo Ancelotti. Pérez emphasized the positive relationship between the two clubs, stating, “We are not talking about any players at the moment with PSG. With Paris, we are not negotiating anything around Cristiano or Verratti. And our two clubs maintain very good relationships.”
