CR Temouchent bring in Algeria midfielder Mehdi Haidar Hedroug from MC Algiers
Algeria midfielder Mehdi Haidar Hedroug has joined CR Temouchent from MC Algiers on loan, completing a move that will keep the 19-year-old at the Ligue 1 club until 30 June 2027.
Hedroug, who plays in midfield, moves between two clubs in Algeria’s top flight after joining MC Algiers from their under-20 side on 1 July 2026. His switch to CR Temouchent was completed on 25 August, giving him a new senior-team environment shortly after his move into the MC Algiers first-team setup.
The midfielder has already featured in senior competition during his career, making one appearance in the Coupe d’Algerie. He played 45 minutes in the competition, contributing to his early record before moving to CR Temouchent.
The loan agreement runs through the 2026-27 season. Hedroug is due to return to MC Algiers when the arrangement ends on 30 June 2027, with the transfer representing a temporary move rather than a permanent change of club.
CR Temouchent and MC Algiers both compete in Ligue 1, meaning Hedroug remains within Algeria’s top division while taking up a new opportunity with his loan club. His move follows only a short period with MC Algiers after progressing from the club’s under-20 team.
Hedroug was born on 11 October 2006 and is listed as an Algerian national. He joins CR Temouchent as a midfielder under an agreement that is scheduled to last until the end of June 2027, before his return to MC Algiers.
The completed loan sees Mehdi Haidar Hedroug move from MC Algiers to CR Temouchent until 30 June 2027.
