Çorum FK joins race to sign Adamo Nagalo after PSV pre-season omission

Burkina Faso international Adamo Nagalo could be set for another move after Turkish club Çorum FK entered the race to sign the defender following his omission from PSV Eindhoven’s pre-season squad.

Nagalo has returned to PSV after spending last season on loan at Konyaspor, where he enjoyed a successful spell.

However, the Dutch club has not included the centre-back in its preparations for the new campaign, fuelling speculation over his future.

The decision has opened the possibility of a transfer, with interest growing from clubs in Turkey ahead of the new season.

PSV signed Nagalo from FC Nordsjaelland in a deal worth €7 million, but the club is reportedly unwilling to sanction a permanent move for less than €4 million. That valuation has become a key factor in ongoing discussions over the defender’s future.

Konyaspor, where Nagalo impressed during his loan spell, is keen to bring the Burkina Faso international back on a permanent basis.

The Turkish club has continued its efforts to negotiate a deal, although PSV’s asking price has complicated those discussions.

Competition for the defender’s signature has now intensified. According to Africafoot, Çorum FK has joined the list of clubs seeking to secure Nagalo’s services before the transfer window closes.

The Turkish side is looking to strengthen its defensive options as it prepares for the upcoming season and has identified the Burkinabe centre-back as one of its leading transfer targets.

Unlike some interested clubs, Çorum FK is reportedly prepared to match the financial conditions set by PSV Eindhoven. That willingness could strengthen its position as negotiations continue.

Nagalo’s future now appears to depend on whether one of the interested clubs can meet PSV’s valuation while convincing the defender that their project offers the best opportunity for regular first-team football.
