AS Saint-Étienne defender Dylan Batubinsika is attracting interest from clubs in Turkey and Greece, as speculation grows over a potential move away from the French side during the summer transfer window.

With only a year remaining on his current contract, the 29-year-old Congolese international appears to be weighing up his options for the next chapter in his career.

Sources close to the matter report that Turkish club Eyüpspor and Greek giants AEK Athens have already made contact with Batubinsika’s representatives, presenting formal offers to secure his services.

AS Saint-Étienne, recently relegated to Ligue 2, are bracing for the departure of several first-team players, and Batubinsika is believed to be one of the more likely exits.

While the club would prefer to retain experienced figures as they attempt to rebuild, there is an openness within the hierarchy to consider offers deemed financially appropriate.

According to information published by Africafoot, both Eyüpspor and AEK Athens are serious in their pursuit.

The two clubs are keen to reinforce their defensive lines with a player who brings both experience and leadership.

Batubinsika’s camp has reportedly received concrete proposals and is currently evaluating the sporting merits of each project.

Valued at €1.2 million by Transfermarkt, the former Royal Antwerp and Paris Saint-Germain academy defender is understood to be receptive to the idea of a new challenge abroad.

While no decision has been finalised, the player is not ruling out a move this summer if the right opportunity arises.

During his time with Saint-Étienne, Batubinsika has been a key figure in the back line, bringing physical presence, aerial strength, and composure.

His performances, particularly in a turbulent campaign for the Greens, have not gone unnoticed across Europe.

Should a deal be struck, the transfer would mark another significant exit for Saint-Étienne as the club continues its restructuring in the wake of relegation.

For Batubinsika, it would present an opportunity to compete at a high level once again and potentially earn a return to top-flight football in a new country.

As negotiations continue behind the scenes, both Eyüpspor and AEK Athens will be hoping to win the race for the Congolese centre-back’s signature before interest from other clubs intensifies.
