The 19-year-old midfielder, fresh from his breakthrough season and a memorable goal in PSG’s 5-0 Champions League final win over Inter Milan, has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 right thigh adductor injury. PSG confirmed he will miss the UEFA Super Cup clash with Tottenham in Udine.
Mayulu is now racing against time to recover for Sunday’s trip to Nantes, but his participation remains uncertain. The setback comes after a whirlwind rise for the teenager, who only made his professional debut on 7 January 2024 in a 9-0 Coupe de France victory over Revel.
