Como are in control of their opening UEFA Champions League match, leading RB Leipzig 2-0 at half-time after an impressive first-half performance.

The Italian side have dictated the game with 58% possession and established their rhythm from the opening minutes. Their pressure was rewarded in the 15th minute when M. Baturina opened the scoring.

Baturina then turned provider 23 minutes later, creating Como’s second goal for Tasos Douvikas in the 38th minute.

RB Leipzig have struggled to impose themselves, managing only 42% possession during the opening period. Their difficulties were compounded by two yellow cards.

The German side will need a significantly improved second-half performance if they are to overturn the deficit.
