CODM Meknes confirm injury layoff for first-choice keeper
Meknes Club have been hit with an unwelcome setback after confirming the absence of one of their key players, dealing a blow to the technical staff’s plans for the coming fixtures.
The Meknes Club side will be without their first-choice goalkeeper, Reda Bounaka, who has been sidelined through injury.
In an official update, CODM Meknes revealed that Bounaka is suffering from pain in the adductor muscle. This issue was confirmed following a series of medical examinations carried out by the club’s medical team.
The club further disclosed that the goalkeeper is expected to be out of action for approximately two weeks. During this period, he will undergo a tailored rehabilitation programme aimed at ensuring a safe and full recovery before making his return to the pitch.
Bounaka’s absence represents a significant challenge for Meknes, particularly given his importance to the team’s defensive stability as they look to maintain momentum in the league.
