Coba da Costa: Getafes Guinea-Bissau winger linked with Al-Kholood move
Coba da Costa, the Guinea-Bissau-born Spanish winger currently at Getafe, is being linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Kholood. The 23-year-old left-sided attacker, who is under contract at the LaLiga club until 30 June 2029, has emerged as a target as the Saudi outfit look to reinforce their wide options this summer.
Da Costa has a reported market valuation of around 1.5 million, a figure that would make him a relatively affordable option for Al-Kholood compared with many targets in Europes top leagues. Any negotiations, however, are likely to be shaped by the length of his deal at Getafe and the clubs control over his next step.
The winger broke into the Getafe first team in December 2024 after arriving from Getafe CF B earlier that season, and went on to feature 33 times in LaLiga, scoring once and registering one assist over 1,347 minutes. His development prompted Getafe to tie him to a long-term contract running to 2029.
In February 2026, da Costa spent part of the campaign on loan at Belgian side RSC Anderlecht before returning to Getafe at the end of that spell in June. That move underlined Getafes willingness to place him in different environments to accelerate his progress, while keeping his long-term future in their hands.
Born in La Mojonera in southern Spain and comfortable operating as a right-footed left winger, da Costas blend of backgrounds with Guinea-Bissau and Spain adds to his appeal in a league seeking greater international profile. For now, though, he remains a Getafe player with three years left on his contract as Al-Kholood assess whether to turn their interest into a formal offer.
