The first leg is scheduled to take place in Abidjan on October 12, and the return match in Casablanca addresses concerns about accessibility, responding to those who desire a large audience to support the Senegalese team. The choice of Casablanca over Marrakech was made to accommodate the preferences of both the French coach and those who had initially suggested Banjul as a potential location.
