The Burkinabé Football Federation (FBF) has allocated 1,500 seats for Algerian supporters during the crucial match between the Fennecs of Algeria and the Stallions in Ouagadougou on October 12. This encounter marks the first leg of the 2014 World Cup play-offs.
Sita Sangaré, the president of FBF, expressed the intention to provide a designated platform for Algerian fans to rally behind their team. The allocated platform has a capacity for up to 1,500 spectators. Sangaré emphasized the positive relations between Burkina Faso and Algeria, highlighting football as a game that strengthens the bonds of friendship. Speaking on Radio Algérie Internationale, he assured that Algerian supporters would be warmly welcomed in Ouagadougou, with all necessary amenities provided, including guaranteed security measures.
