Raja Casablanca, less than two weeks before the Club World Cup in Morocco, unexpectedly parted ways with their coach, M’hamed Fakhir. The club’s management cited Fakhir reaching a saturation point and the inability to meet imminent challenges as reasons for his dismissal. Hilal Tair, a current staff member, has been appointed as the interim coach, with the announcement of a permanent successor expected soon. This decision follows a recent defeat and Raja Casablanca is currently fifth in the Moroccan league standings. The new coach, possibly Nabil Maâloul or José Romao, is expected to take charge of the team in the coming week.
