Raja Casablanca secured a place in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup by defeating Monterrey (2-1 after extra time). They will face Atletico Mineiro for a place in the final. Raja Casablanca participates in the competition as the champion of the host country. They had previously beaten Auckland City in the earlier round (2-1). After Chemseddine Chitibi’s goal in the 24th minute, Monterrey equalized in the 53rd minute. Guehi scored the winning goal in the 95th minute. The Moroccans will now face Atletico Mineiro, Ronaldinho’s club, in the semi-final.
