United States-Liberia dual-national Gabriel Wesseh is reportedly attracting interest from Club Brugge, with the 18-year-old currently playing for Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK.
Wesseh, a left-footed right winger, joined Fredrikstad from Atlanta Academy on 14 July 2026 and has made nine Eliteserien appearances this season. He has scored twice and provided two assists, with 348 minutes played.
The teenager’s potential move would take him from Norway’s top flight to Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League. No transfer fee has been reported, while Wesseh’s current market value is listed at €700,000.
Wesseh has made 27% of Fredrikstad’s possible league starts and has played 35% of the club’s available minutes this season. His four goal involvements account for 31% of his side’s total in the competition.
The winger’s short spell in senior football follows his move to Atlanta Academy from Philadelphia Union Academy in January 2025. Fredrikstad signed him the following summer, and he remains under contract with the Norwegian club until 31 December 2030.
The reported Club Brugge interest comes as Wesseh establishes himself in Fredrikstad’s first-team set-up, although the move remains at the rumour stage.
