Saber Khalifa Cleared to Play for Club Africain in New Season
Saber Khalifa, recently loaned to Club Africain by Olympique de Marseille, is officially eligible to participate in the 2014/2015 Professional Football League season, the Tunisian club confirmed today.
Having joined on a one-year loan deal that includes an option to buy, Khalifa’s registration was approved in time for him to feature in Club Africain’s opening match of the season. The team faces Métlaoui next Sunday, and if the coaching staff deems him fit and ready, Khalifa could be included in the starting lineup.
The Tunisian forward will be aiming to make an immediate impact for the Bab Jedid side as he begins this new chapter away from Marseille, where opportunities were limited last season.
