The African Club of Tunis returned to the 2013-2014 Ligue 1 season with a match against Sfaxien Sporting Club, the reigning champion, at the El-Menzah Olympic stadium. The match took place on Wednesday, and for this clash, coach Adrie Koster had the support of new recruits from the summer transfer window.
Among the notable additions were the Congolese player Matt Moussilou, who joined from Lausanne-Sport, and the Ghanaian Prince Tagoe. Both players received their transfer certificates on Monday, making them eligible to start the season with their new team.
In addition to their debut on the field, Tagoe and Moussilou were set to be officially presented alongside other new recruits. This presentation event was scheduled to coincide with the unveiling of the club’s new jerseys. The additions from the summer transfer window aimed to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.
