Landry Chauvin, who was appointed as head coach of the African Club just last January for a six-month period, has already been relieved of his duties.
The French coach was dismissed by the club’s leadership due to inadequate results. Out of a possible 21 points, Chauvin only managed to secure 9 points for a team with aspirations of winning the Tunisian Ligue 1 title. The final blow came with a league defeat last Sunday against EGS Gafsa (0-1).
He will be succeeded by the club’s sports director, Mondher Kebaier, who will retain former assistant coach Mohamed Mkacher.
Chauvin has previously coached teams such as Rennes, Nantes, and Brest.
