Cleopatra FC sign Egypt right-back Fathi Mohamed from Pharco FC

Egypt right-back Fathi Mohamed has joined Cleopatra FC from Pharco FC, completing a move to the Premier League club at the age of 21.

Mohamed, who is naturally right-footed, has moved after one season with Pharco’s senior side. He joined Pharco FC from the club’s Under-21 team on 1 July 2025 and now begins the next stage of his career with Cleopatra.

The defender made 16 appearances across four competitions during the 2025-26 campaign, playing in the Relegation Playoff, Egyptian League Cup, Premier League and Egypt Cup. He scored once in the Egyptian League Cup and accumulated 877 minutes of football.

His busiest involvement came in the Relegation Playoff, where he featured 11 times and played 730 minutes. Mohamed also made two Premier League appearances, alongside two Egyptian League Cup outings and one appearance in the Egypt Cup.

Cleopatra’s new arrival has operated at right-back throughout his recorded senior career. His first-team experience began after his move from Pharco’s Under-21 setup, and he has now followed that step with a move to another Egyptian top-flight club.

Mohamed’s transfer takes place during the opening weeks of the 2026-27 season. Cleopatra have added an Egyptian defender with recent senior and cup experience, while Pharco lose a player who made his progression from the Under-21 level to the first team last year.

The move was completed on 13 August 2026, with Mohamed officially joining Cleopatra FC from Pharco FC.
