Clayton Diandy: Senegal-Guinea-Bissau winger joins Al-Diriyah in €4.6m move from Aris Saloniki

Al-Diriyah have signed Senegal-Guinea-Bissau right winger Clayton Diandy from Greek side Aris Saloniki in a permanent transfer worth €4.6m. The 19-year-old, who plays predominantly on the right of attack and favours his right foot, completed his move on 22 July and will link up with the Saudi club ahead of the new campaign.

Diandy returns to Al-Diriyah after a successful loan spell with the Saudi side last season, during which he made 28 appearances in the Saudi First Division League. He scored five goals and provided seven assists in 1,962 minutes of league action, averaging a goal every 392 minutes and contributing regularly in the final third.

His form in Saudi Arabia followed a period in the Greek Super League with Aris, where he featured in domestic league and cup competitions as well as in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying. During his time in Greece, he collected 19 league appearances and further outings in the Greek Cup, play-offs and European qualifiers, gaining experience across multiple competitions.

Born in Sao Domingos in July 2006 and standing at 1.74m, Diandy first moved to Aris from Espoir Guediawaye in July 2024. Al-Diriyah initially secured him on loan in September 2025, with that temporary deal ending in June 2026 before the Saudi side moved to buy him outright.

Diandy’s market value stood at €1m at the time of the transfer, with Al-Diriyah committing a €4.6m fee to make the winger’s return a full-time switch.
