The unveiling of the first edition of the CIS Awards 2025 jury has been the start of a sincere and honourable football awards ceremony in West Africa.

Hosted by CIS Médias and Univers Déco Pro (UDP), the awards aim to put into prominence and honour the exceptional abilities and performances of footballers across the West African sub-region.

The announcement of the members of the jury was received with enthusiasm and expectation, as it brought together a panel of experienced journalists and sports commentators from Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal and Mali.

Head of jury is Guinean journalist and President of the panel, Tanou Diallo.

He has the support of experienced media people like Adou Mel of Ivory Coast’s Groupe Intelligents d’Abidjan, Thierno Diallo of Senegal’s RTG, PUNCH Guinée’s Lamine Cissé, Baba Sisouma of Mali, and Guinean superstar consultant Moussa Kamara.

Representing Ghana is Nuhu Adams, freelance sports consultant, writer at GHANasoccernet.com, and Managing Editor, AfricaSoccer.com.

The multicultural composition of the jury not only lends credibility to the awards but also reflects a balanced representation of regional football perspectives.

Their combined experience and expertise ensure an impartial and holistic evaluation process that will reward true football excellence in West Africa.
