French forward of Congolese descent, Christopher Nkunku, is on the verge of signing his deal as a new AC Milan attacker.
According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed the deal with his signature “here we go,” the Italian giants will pay around €35 million for the 27-year-old, including performance-related add-ons.
Nkunku has already agreed on personal terms and will sign a five-year contract with the Rossoneri.
Final paperwork between the two clubs is being completed, with the official announcement expected in the coming days.
Nkunku is tipped to play a central role in Milan’s attack as they prepare for the new Serie A campaign.
Further checks have revealed that the deal will be completed and an official announcement made by AC Milan before the end of the week.
The forward will be hoping to find his feet at the new club after his difficult spell at Chelsea.
