Christopher Nkunku linked with Dortmund switch after AC Milan move

French-Congolese forward Christopher Nkunku is being linked with a move from AC Milan to Dortmund.

The 28-year-old joined Milan from Chelsea on 30 August 2025 for €37m, and the rumour raises the possibility of another change of club after only one season in Serie A.

Nkunku has made 32 Serie A appearances, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. He has also scored 11 goals in 31 Champions League appearances during his career.

The former Paris St-Germain and RB Leipzig player moved to Chelsea in July 2023 for €60m after establishing himself in Germany. He won the 2025 Club World Cup and the Conference League with the London club before moving to Italy.

Nkunku’s current market value is listed at €25m, while his Milan contract runs until 30 June 2030. There is no indication of a proposed fee or of negotiations between the clubs, so the reported Dortmund interest remains unconfirmed.
