Christian Molina: Spanish-Equatoguinean midfielder joins Calamocha on free transfer

Calamocha have signed Spanish-Equatoguinean midfielder Christian Molina on a free transfer from Moscardo. The 26-year-old central midfielder has agreed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Segunda Federacion Group V side.

Molina, born in Getafe and comfortable using both feet, adds height and experience to Calamocha’s midfield at 1.90m tall. He arrives with an estimated market value of €25,000 and will be available for the new campaign after leaving Moscardo at the end of last season.

The move continues a career spent largely in Spain’s lower professional tiers, where Molina has built a reputation as a regular starter in the Segunda Federacion. Across his time in the division, he has made more than 110 appearances, including 84 in Group V alone, contributing two goals and one assist while amassing over 5,700 minutes on the pitch.

Before his spell at Moscardo, Molina had stints with Bergantinos FC and CD Illescas, and earlier represented Ourense and Marchamalo after coming through the ranks at AD Alcorcon. His experience also includes appearances in promotion play-offs, the Copa Federacion and a full 90 minutes in the Copa del Rey.

Molina’s arrival completes a permanent switch within the Spanish system, tying him to Calamocha until the end of the 2026-27 season.
