Ivorian forward Christian Kouamé has shared insights into his resurgence at Fiorentina, crediting a blend of hard work and coaching clarity for his team’s rise in Serie A.
Speaking to Radio Sportiva, the 26-year-old reflected on their season so far:
“We’re back to work and laser-focused. We’re high in the standings, and we want to stay there. I’m not surprised by our performances; it took time to grasp the coach’s vision, but now we’re executing it every Sunday.”
Kouamé also spoke about the managerial shift from Vincenzo Italiano to Raffaele Palladino. “I’ll always be grateful to Mister Italiano for believing in me after my loan spell in Belgium. With Mister Palladino, we had a candid conversation during preseason. He wanted to evaluate me, and in the end, asked me to stay. I stayed. My goal remains the same: to give my all for my teammates and every coach.”
The striker’s commitment and adaptability are now driving Fiorentina’s impressive push in the league, proving his decision to stay was the right call.
