Christian Kofane attracting Premier League interest

Christian Kofane is drawing strong interest from Arsenal and other Premier League clubs, with Bayer Leverkusen reportedly valuing the 19-year-old striker at €60–70 million after his breakthrough season.

Christian Kofane’s performances for Bayer Leverkusen have quickly turned him into one of the most talked‑about young forwards in Europe, with several Premier League clubs now closely monitoring his development. According to Sky, Arsenal FC is also among the interested parties who are closely monitoring the 19-year-old striker.

Leverkusen are said to have sent a clear signal to Kofane, setting a transfer fee in the range of 60 to 70 million euros, after the club only signed him last summer for around 5 million euros from the Spanish second division. This enormous price increase reflects how much Kofane’s market value has increased in a short time.

The youngster has quickly established himself on the pitch: This season he has already made 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists. The website Transfermarkt now estimates his market value at around €40 million, which has further fueled interest from England.

Whether a move to England will actually happen next summer remains to be seen, but the growing interest from the Premier League underlines his rapid development. For Leverkusen, a potential transfer would not only be a sporting milestone, but also, given the potential transfer fee, a strong signal for their own transfer policy.
