Christ Tape: Toulouse sign Ivory Coast left-back from AC Horsens in 2.5m deal
Toulouse have signed Ivory Coast defender Christ Tape from Danish side AC Horsens in a 2.5m transfer. The 20-year-old left-back has agreed a four-year contract with the Ligue 1 club, running until 30 June 2030.
Tape, who was born in Seguela and stands at 1.88m, moves to France after establishing himself as a regular in Denmarks top flight. A left-footed full-back, he is set to wear the number 12 shirt for his new club.
He arrives with significant first-team experience for his age, having played 34 league matches in Denmarks 1. Division, scoring once, and featuring in promotion play-offs and domestic cup competitions for AC Horsens. In total, he amassed more than 4,500 competitive minutes for the club.
Tape joined Horsens in 2024 from Ivorian side CO Korhogo and quickly became a fixture in the Danish sides defence. His performances there coincided with a rise in his market valuation, which now stands at 800,000.
The move marks Tapes first spell in one of Europes major leagues and continues his progression from domestic football in Ivory Coast, via Denmark, to the French top flight.
Tapes transfer from AC Horsens to Toulouse is a completed permanent deal for a fee of 2.5m, with his contract in France set to run until the summer of 2030.
