Chemseddine Knaidil: Raja Casablanca eye move for COD Meknes and Morocco left-back
Chemseddine Knaidil, the Moroccan left-back currently at COD Meknes, is being linked with a move to Botola Pro rivals Raja Casablanca. The 23-year-old, who plays on the left side of defence and is under contract with COD Meknes until 30 June 2027, has emerged as a target as Raja look to strengthen their options in the position.
Knaidil joined COD Meknes for the 2025-26 season from JS Soualem and has since established himself as a regular in the Moroccan top flight. He has made 54 league appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi, scoring once and providing one assist, accumulating 3,745 minutes of game time. That run of consistent minutes has helped push his current estimated market value to around €450,000.
Born in Casablanca on 6 December 2002, Knaidil came through the ranks at FUS Espoirs before moving on loan to JS Soualem in August 2023, a deal that was made permanent the following year. His rise through domestic clubs and regular exposure in the top division have drawn interest from one of the country’s most prominent sides.
Any deal would require Raja to negotiate with COD Meknes, who are protected by the player’s long-term contract running until 2027. At this stage, the move remains at the rumour stage, with Knaidil continuing as COD Meknes’ left-back as the club weigh up their options regarding his future.
