ANDRÉ AYEW STARTS AGAINST CHELSEA IN PREMIER LEAGUE DEBUT WITH SWANSEA
Ghanaian international André Ayew has made an immediate impression at his new club Swansea City, earning a starting spot in their Premier League opener against Chelsea. Signed from Olympique de Marseille this summer, the midfielder has already gained the full trust of Swansea manager Garry Monk, who included him in the starting XI at Stamford Bridge.
Ayew lined up on the right side of Swansea’s attacking trio behind striker Bafétimbi Gomis, with Jefferson Montero on the opposite flank and Gylfi Sigurðsson in the central playmaker role.
