Looks like Romelu Lukaku is leaning toward staying at Everton despite interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs like Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and Real Madrid. Ian Atkins, Everton’s recruitment manager, confirmed that Lukaku has made up his mind to return to Goodison Park next season.
Everton clearly want to make it official and have offered Chelsea €23 million to secure Lukaku permanently. After a strong loan spell where he impressed everyone, including the manager, it makes sense that both the club and player want to continue the partnership.
If the deal goes through, Lukaku could be a key figure for Everton as they aim to climb back into European competitions. It’s definitely good news for the Toffees fans!
