Ramires has dismissed rumors of a potential move to Real Madrid during the winter transfer window. The speculation initially surfaced in October, with Mundo Deportivo suggesting that Real Madrid had a strong interest in signing the Brazilian midfielder. However, Ramires refuted the claims, stating that he had not been informed by his agent, and he considers it mere speculation.
Speaking to Globo Esporte, Ramires expressed his happiness at being linked to Real Madrid but emphasized that neither Chelsea nor his agent had provided any information regarding a potential transfer. Under contract with Chelsea until 2017, Ramires stated that he would only leave if the club wanted him to, as he feels well-adapted and is content at Chelsea.
The Brazilian midfielder, who has been a regular starter in Chelsea’s Premier League matches at the start of the season, is unlikely to be let go by Jose Mourinho in January, given his significant impact on the team’s gameplay.
