Loïc Rémy Poised to Join Chelsea Amid Transfer Race
Chelsea are set to secure the signing of French striker Loïc Rémy in the coming days, according to reports confirmed during the club’s recent press conference. The 27-year-old forward is expected to fill the void left by Fernando Torres, who has spent the past two seasons on loan at AC Milan.
Chelsea manager acknowledged the club’s ongoing pursuit of Rémy, revealing: “We have been trying to sign Remy since yesterday (Friday).” The manager also highlighted Rémy’s proven ability and readiness to contribute at the highest level.
However, the transfer has yet to be finalised, with Arsenal reportedly still interested in the QPR striker. Chelsea will need to accelerate negotiations if they want to complete the deal swiftly and secure the forward’s services.
The addition of Rémy could provide Chelsea with a fresh attacking option as they look to bolster their squad following a thrilling 6-3 victory over Everton.
