Mohamed Salah, who joined Chelsea from FC Basel last January, is still in the process of adapting to the Premier League. Despite his limited appearances, such as the recent match against Arsenal where he scored the Blues’ final goal, the Egyptian forward has yet to fully settle in.
During a press conference, his coach, José Mourinho, likened Salah’s situation to that of a young child in need of protection.
“Scoring that goal was crucial for Salah’s confidence. He’s like a child, or even a baby, in terms of his development. He requires nurturing and support from all of us. The players have been fantastic with him, and we’re making progress step by step,” shared the Portuguese tactician.
Back in February, Mourinho had already expressed his patience regarding Salah’s adaptation process.
