English Premier League club Chelsea has secured the future of Moroccan prospect Ibrahim Rabbaj with a first professional contract running until the summer of 2028.
The move aims to safeguard the young star from interest by rival clubs following his impressive performances at the youth international level.
Rabbaj, who operates both as a winger and centre forward, has showcased his talent and development during his time at the Chelsea Academy.
His performances have drawn attention, particularly after helping Morocco’s under-17 national team lift the African Cup of Nations title, defeating Mali in the final.
The Moroccan forward began his football journey at the Crystal Palace Academy before joining Chelsea’s youth setup in 2021, where he has continued to develop into one of the club’s brightest young prospects.
The young talent has yet to make his first-team debut, but Chelsea clearly see great potential in him. The three-year length of the deal reflects regulations, as 17-year-olds can only sign contracts up to a maximum of three years.
