Gael Kakuta has parted ways with Vitesse Arnhem, opting to terminate his contract with the Dutch club to return to his loaning club, Chelsea.
Despite rejoining Chelsea, the midfielder has not been integrated into the first team under the management of Blues coach José Mourinho. Instead, Kakuta has been training with the club’s under-20s.
Having originated from Lens, Kakuta initially joined Stamford Bridge in July 2007. His subsequent career involved multiple loan spells, including stints at Fulham, Bolton, Dijon in France, and, most recently, Vitesse Arnhem.
During his time with the Dutch club, the Congolese-born player participated in around forty matches, contributing with 4 goals across various competitions.
