According to Jeuneafrique, a close friend of Eto’o, Martin Camus Mimb, revealed that Eto’o signed a one-year contract with Chelsea, with the option for an additional year based on his performances. However, Eto’o reportedly has no intention of staying with the club beyond this season.
It’s suggested that Anzhi Makhachkala, Eto’o’s former club, is keen to bring him back. Despite contributing significantly to Chelsea’s game with 6 goals in 16 matches and earning praise from coach José Mourinho, Eto’o’s future at the club appears uncertain.
Eto’o’s potential departure has attracted interest from Qatar and the United States, with the striker also expressing a desire to finish his career at Real Mallorca in Spain.
