Chelsea demand €69m for Nicolas Jackson transfer
Nicolas Jackson could leave Chelsea this summer, with Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid reportedly monitoring the Senegal international.
However, negotiations are being slowed by the London club’s valuation of its forward.
Chelsea want approximately €69 million, before considering Jackson’s departure. The figure has discouraged some interested teams, particularly Aston Villa, who initially preferred to explore a loan arrangement rather than commit to a major permanent transfer.
Even so, Chelsea appear increasingly open to moving on from the striker. Their attacking options have expanded following Danny Welbeck’s arrival from Brighton, while João Pedro remains an important part of head coach Xabi Alonso’s plans. With several forwards competing for places, the club still needs to reduce a bloated squad before the transfer window closes.
A departure could benefit Jackson as well. The 25-year-old may find a team willing to offer him a clearer role and more dependable playing time, helping him regain confidence and consistency. Chelsea, meanwhile, would create space in attack and collect a substantial transfer fee.
Aston Villa and Tottenham remain the strongest Premier League possibilities, while Atlético continue to follow developments. Unless Chelsea lower their demands or accept a creative proposal, talks are unlikely to accelerate quickly.
