Renowned transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech will remain with Galatasaray on a permanent deal after the Turkish side activated the purchase clause.
The same source, in a tweet on “X” platform, indicated that Galatasaray has activated and signed a definitive contract to secure Ziyech’s services permanently, with Chelsea’s management sending a letter to Galatasaray confirming the agreement.
This move aims to block all recent speculations, including Chelsea reportedly considering Ziyech and Lukaku as part of a swap deal with Napoli to acquire Victor Osimhen’s services.
Hakim Ziyech finds himself on the wish list of several Saudi Arabian clubs during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Ziyech staged a remarkable comeback with Galatasaray after months of inconsistent performances, particularly shining in the recent matches, which shifted the dynamics within his club’s management.
They are now adamant about retaining his services after previously considering not activating the purchase clause from English club Chelsea.
Ziyech has now increased his tally to eight goals for Galatasaray this season, along with contributing four assists.
