CHELSEA: 10 WEEKS OF UNAVAILABILITY FOR CECH
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech sustained a shoulder injury during the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid. Following the injury, Cech underwent successful surgery on Wednesday to address the issue.
Unfortunately for Cech and Chelsea, the surgery means that the goalkeeper will be sidelined for a period of approximately 10 weeks as he recovers from the injury. This news was confirmed by the club in a press release on their official website.
The absence of Cech will undoubtedly be felt by Chelsea as they navigate through the remainder of their campaign without one of their key players between the posts.
