CHAN 2025: South Africa coach Molefi Ntseki praises players after 1-1 draw against Algeria

The head coach of South Africa, Molefi Ntseki, was full of praise for his players on Friday afternoon after their 1-1 draw against Algeria at the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

In the Group C clash, South Africa battled to come from behind to earn a point from the match.

Speaking at the end of the match, Molefi Ntseki praised his players’ commitment both on and off the ball.

He said that although his team had some anxious moments, they did well to secure the draw.

“It was an important match against a team who started the tournament well. Our players showed dedication and commitment. Tactically, we were sound, though we had some anxious moments,” Molefi Ntseki said as quoted by CAFOnline.

After the draw against Algeria, South Africa sits fourth in Group C with one point from one game. They will take on Guinea in their next match at the CHAN on August 11.
