In a highly entertaining match, Uganda secured a 2-1 victory over Burkina Faso in the second group B match of the 2014 African Nations Championship. Wasswa opened the scoring for Uganda in the 15th minute, and Yunus Sentamu, voted “Man of the Match,” extended the lead with two goals on quick counter-attacks. Burkina Faso’s Cyrille Bayala scored a late goal, but it wasn’t enough as Uganda emerged victorious. In the earlier match, Zimbabwe and Morocco played to a goalless draw in the first group game.
