Maxwell Konadu, the coach of the local Ghana national team, has revealed the 23-player squad that will represent the country at the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN). The tournament is scheduled to take place from January 11 to February 1 in South Africa.
The squad features a significant representation from Asante Kotoko, with 7 players from the Porcupines included in the group. Following their victory in the UFOA tournament held in Kumasi a few weeks ago, Ghana aims to clinch the CHAN title. The national team previously secured a second-place finish in the 2009 edition of the competition.
Drawn into Group C, Ghana will face Libya, Ethiopia, and Congo in the group stage.
