Group A: TP Mazembe Take Control
TP Mazembe solidified their position at the top of Group A with a 1-0 victory over Egypt’s Smouha, climbing to 8 points. The Congolese giants now lead the group outright, with a strong chance of qualifying for the semifinals.
In the group’s other fixture, Moghreb Tétouan kept their hopes alive with a crucial 1-0 away win over Al-Hilal of Sudan, bringing both clubs to 5 points, just three behind Mazembe.
